I'm going to give it a few months, and that was something I was upfront with the women about, and something they understood.

They kept looking at my resume shaking their head in disbelief at their luck (their words). I told them that I'd always had an affinity for animals, that I think what they're doing may not be glamorous but it's something that I truly respected and that this opportunity , aside from the money, was something that I'd always contemplated doing with my life.
I'm not really too concerned about the organization, or personnel, chaos going in, I've already started laying out a plan of action for that. It's going to be a challenge, I know that, but it's one I'm looking forward to. My only concern is the financial side of it, which will either get better, or it won't, in which case I'll leave the organization in a much better position than it was.
