i don't think they ever stop looking, but that sat photo was taken 2 days after, now 10 later....

If it was a wing, empty tanks could keep it afloat, damaged tanks could fill with water and sink. Rough,seas thousands of miles from anywhere, jeez, they couldn't have picked a worse place to direct a plane to.
