The reason why the metrics sites love UT is that they are top 15 in the country in defense and rebounding.

Over the last ten games, we're top 5 in both. That's pretty rare. It's the benefit of having upper classmen with legit PF size and double double ability although Maymon is a shell of his former self. He's 18 months out from his knee surgery and still cannot jump.
UT played much worse than UMass the last time we were in tournament. That was when Pearl got sandbagged by the AD's unwillingness to give a vote of confidence the day before the tournament. I think we lost by 30+.
