I watched Season 1 and it was great...but for fuck's sake, every time I start to like someone, they die. And the Lannister's keep winning.

From everything I've heard, it never gets any better. and I get it, sometimes the bad guys win. But at some point, the good guys have to win if it's going to hold my interest. There's only so much depression and death and evil I can take before I stop watching.
