I remember how weird people got about NON smoking areas, especially on planes, and restaurants...

I mean it really was like having a non peeing side of the pool. You'd get such filthy looks and some jerks would arrogantly blow smoke in your direction as if to teach us a lesson.
and I wasn't even a rabid non smoker cause I never did but lived with those that did so I was used to it.
cops really would smoke while standing overa body, gas station attendents would smoke while filling your car up, they'd reach in the engine to get the oil stick with a cig in their hands.
