I kind of wanted to see more from the year 2030. I want to know if Marshall, Lily and Barney would be okay with Ted attempting to go after Robin again. Of course, there's no telling how much in the intervening years since the wedding that she was even around, since they established that she missed a great majority of the group's big moments. How long has it been since they'd hung out and seen each other? Was it just holidays? How'd he know Robin just got home? Oh Ted, you and your crazy stalker ways.
And is she still globe travelling reporter/Bus Lady? That drove her and Barney apart, why wouldn't do the same to Ted?
If Cristin Milioti hadn't been so awesome (and so god damned cute), I think I'd be more okay with Ted and Robin presumably ending up together. But she was perfect. All the flashfowards this season of Ted and The Mother (oh look, they have the same initials, what a Meet Cute) just crushed it. They played off each other perfectly, and sadly, this was obviously too good to be true, even for a sitcom.
It's a little weird that Ted and The Mother (I still can't call her Tracy) had two kids and *then* decided to finally get married. BUT WHAT HAPPENED TO HER. "She got sick." dammit, drop the C word on us or something, make us care that she died. Show the gang at the funeral and comforting Ted. I hated that part, not that she died, but how they just kind of glossed over it.
I wouldn't say I hated the episode or the ending, but there was so much more they could've done with it and still had each character come to the exact same conclusion.
