A difficult but incredible story. You should read it (it's not as long as it first appears). It's basically the story of Hotel Rwanda...

...from the perspective of a journalist who was there and a Senegalese U.N. officer who saves so many. Dallaire gets a lot of the credit for what the U.N. peacekeepers managed to do against all adversity but Mbaye who was "boots on the ground", he drove back and force with refugees in his car and faced down the militias at the roadblocks.
