Yeah, that's pretty much true. They are typically steamed, so they're not going to have that flavor of a grilled or fried seafood -- nm - con_carne Apr 3, 10:18 1

They do have their own flavour - especially if they are fresh. Also if they are saltwater, the shells will give off a flavour. - Roger More Apr 3, 09:59
