where he was saying that a church had been shut down for refusing to perform a gay marriage ceremony. This seemed crazy to me, since it wasn't even law yet, and, well, church. What had actually happened was that a church had lost its charter from the Anglican Diocese *because* it performed a gay marriage ceremony. If there's no persecution, they'll invent it.
