stuff starts happening with the claim in particular. And then with the orphan lil girl. Those are the two big things I remember and they start moving. But the season lays the ground work and starts building out plots that begin in the 1st season.

Trust me, there's boobs, blood (there's one fight scene in the last season(?) that's chilling), creative swearing and some of the most beautiful language in it.
