The power in the game now is beyond what the body can sustain.

Greg Maddux threw 90 for 20 years....never hurt. Kerry Wood threw 98 for 2 years, broke down.

Strasburg threw 98 for 2 years, broke down. Dylan Bundy same thing...etc etc...

Just more impressive how freakish Nolan Ryan was to throw that hard, that long without having the elbow blow up until the very end.
