They aren't going to talk quality of the product. Outside of ratings and PPV buys, that isn't really an issue to why the stock price is what it is.

Quality will help draw eyeballs (in theory), but since they're in the same basic garbage range they've been for 3-4 years, it's not really valid.
The tv rights deals wasn't close to what Vince expected; and that's not becuase of ratings per se...it's becuase he thought he's more like sports, rather than live soap operas.
Sports gets big money...rassling gets downgraded. Add in the network is only going to cannibalize their PPV's, they're in a tough spot and will need to get subscribers yesterday.
They ain't in danger of going under (*looks at TNA*), but they're now in a weaker position going forward becuase the tv was low and they pissed off the PPV offerors who apparently hate free money.
The only cure is to build interest into the merchandising and then the lead-up to the next negotiations, while probably increasing the Network price to offset the tens of millions Dish and DirecTv cost them.
And next time out, you won't hear Vince talking about doubling or tripling rights fees...becuase he got humbled this go-round.
