Do you put eggs in cold water and then boil? Put them in already boiling water? Place in muffin tins and cook in the oven? How long do you cook for?

I'm with Andie. Heavy pot with cold water that covers the egg(s). Heat to boil. Turn heat off, cover, remove from element. Generally forget them for

Put them in a pot of cold water, heat. Once the water starts boiling, let them boil for 10 minutes or so.
