That sucks for you too. I've had to do the scramble to delete old shows before it deleted things I actually wanted to watch.

I don't lock everything I record, just shows that I'm really into. My issue is that I have DirecTV and if there's bad weather I'll only get partial recordings. So, if I let a show build up there may be a few episodes that don't record properly due to the rain knocking out the signal.
