I said as the credits were rolling: the only person who won't like this movie is matthew vaughn.
-the opening scene alone was more exciting than everything in first class combined.
-the quicksilver scene is among the best action scenes of all time.
-there was actual emotional resonance, without vaughn's hamfisted "mutant and proud" tripe.
-mcavoy was a complete bire in first class. he's riveting in dofp. the difference? the writing.
