I've made it sound a bit worse than it sounds. I actually have talked with a friend from work and you're right that it actually helped.
I did reach the point that the dudes who are the fellow tenants here, I let know and they offered their help. One of them being the 27 year old son was headed over to the local dive bar so kudos to him and his understanding gf for letting me tag along so I wasn't alone last night which was a huge improvement over Friday night where I think I passed out around 11:30 or so having seriously starting drinking around 8 or so when Veronica left the house to head to San Diego to catch up with Heather.
Woke up at like 2 or so to find I'd had my ringer off and had missed 5 calls from Veronica and a voice mail checking in on me.
Never was able to get back to sleep so watched a bunch of bad movies and had all types of random thoughts.
And yes, I know that I have hope 8)
