Everyone can give advice, but ultimately you have to find your way through this and there's no right way.

People are giving advice based on the averages (and that's not nothing because the averages are the averages because, we'll they are the averages), but everyone is an individual and every relationship is its own thing. Unfortunately you have been hurt and are going to be hurt in the future by this no matter what path you choose. It's a horrible Choose Your Adventure book.
Just know that you can always come here to ask for advice or just to vent. ST being ST will always give advice whether you ask for it or not. It may not always be what you want to hear and it may not always be right for your situation but it will always be good intentioned. One of the great things about ST is that we as a whole have a lot of varied experience and wisdom to draw on, and we can also be pretty funny to break the tension.
I've known you longer than most here and am sorry that you're going through this. Unfortunately it's not an area where I have much to input, but if and when you're ready for a new JD Stock Exchange I'm good to go.
