I don't think I really disagree with much of what you said, but I'll say this: Season 3 is pretty great (the best season easily)

I think it's 13 episodes, end to end mystery, so it's not drrrraaaawwwnnnn out like Rosie story was (they really needed to wrap that in Season 1).
