I honestly don't think so. If you look at Roger More's chart, I see no real correlation between 7pm shows, and lower weekend totals comparatively.

It appears to me like the films that have 7pm and 8pm shows have around the same weekend multiplier as those that have midnights only - especially when looking at children's films.
