I have a 20 year history now of recovery. It all started on a Wednesday when I had a meltdown in the early 90s because my comic book shop was out of one of the more obscure titles because...Marvel...like(d/s) to string us along. I didn't even like the book but knew that if I didn't read that exact issue I'd lose some critical bit of the story and then I'd be lost and my life would be ruined and I'd have to hurl myself into the sea!
(I wasn't getting laid alot either so there was that).
Marvel and I are on speaking terms as long as they don't string me along.
