My parents have sold my childhood home... farewell childhood memories.

They never even listed the house. The neighbors across the street needed a bigger home (he was single when he bought it 15 years ago, then got married and now have two kids with a third on the way) and merely walked across the street and asked my parents if they'd be interested in selling.
My folks have already purchased a detached town home out in the suburbs - my dad says if he had to rake the leaves from the big oak tree out back again he'd go crazy. 37 years doing that is enough! It'll be good for them not to have to worry about yard maintenance any more.
Still... I hate to see the place go..
