Perhaps they'll beef up all the stuff that happens in Europe. Create lots more interaction between Jane and Edward - perhaps even hint around that she's more interested in him than the book does. That could increase her stakes more and make her even scarier when he obviously prefers/chooses Bella over her.
Like I said - Fanning will need something to do.
