* - True story: Once met with John Tory and some youth hacks in an Edmonton hotel room to plot his run for the leadership of the PCs back in the day. I was there at the behest of friends who never ended up supporting him for either a federal run or the provincial run. The noteworthy thing was that while we were plotting, Joe Clark was giving his farewell address to the convention hall we bailed on. Had it on the tv on mute.
