Right, but the main issue is that we need a reason to care about the face-in-peril. It's like booking 101 and Vince has forgotten it.

Paige can wrestle, but he just doesn't care to put any time in to build her at all..then wonders why she's flailing.
I'd say there's not been a single thing Vince has doen well in the last decade other than let Cena suck all the oxygen out at the top of the card.
Punk succeeded in spite of Vince; Bryan as well. Batista wasn't supposed to be the guy he turned into; Edge either....
it's odd to say, but it seems like everything's passed Vince by; including now how to actually do things coherently in his core business.
