the time line was all over the map - I could not keep track and I could not keep up. The make up for Nixon was a joke - and the Nixon storyline was so fantastical - it brought me out of the movie all together.

I think if I had read the book it would not have done so. As someone else mentioned ( I did not realize til they said it) no sense of impending doom - It was Dr. Manhatten - really? they believed that?

anyway - my annoyances grew less as the day(s) wear on and the overall impression is that it was very good.
