Having an interesting email debate with a buddy stemming from a Corner post regarding Rush L.

If the Republicans were to cut ties with Rush because he chases some folks away, who exactly is coming back to the Republicans to replace many of the listeners who make up the Republican base?

THe "Who else would they vote for?" card has already been played, however it's already shown that unless you can motivate a voter to the booth, like many others today, they just won't vote.

So I guess my question is to some of the folks here....Is there anyone here who would consider voting Republican were they to distance themselves from Limbaugh? Or is Rush just a symbol of the underlying philosophy that Rush or no-Rush, you aren't buying?
