TV's getting more freedom to be more real; more real = better acting opportunities = better actors.

we can all remember saccharine bullshit; where there were very special episodes....
Now you have the Shield on basic cable; you have so many more options (AMC, FX, USA, TNT) all getting into original series offering more options.
