The problem is that July 4th is a "waste" of a holiday when it falls on the weekend. -- nm

There is no "July 4th Observed" like there is for Memorial Day, etc. when those fall on a weekend -- nm

Friday off for the 4th, but because everyone will be watching fireworks, and having cookouts, it'll end up being less than a normal summer Friday.
