And, it went very well. So well in fact, that my boss, the director said that from now on I can fly solo to these speaking engagements, no need for her to come along anymore.

Also, this was kind of funny, but after the event I was standing by a table with some of our literature, and an older lady that had been smiling at me throughout my presentation came up and discreetly tried to hand me a piece of paper...which at first I thought was her phone number, but then I realized it was a donation check; we're not supposed to take donations on the premises, hence the lady's discretion in slipping me the check.
