Right? It's no different than wiping away the back line on a tennis court and letting the player decide those calls.

which is how I learned to play tennis, by the way.

There is an obvious problem and an obvious solution. A clock that pauses during injury time and the set up of penalties adds precision. The resistance to the solution genuinely astounds me. I am not point any fingers but I mean that sincerely.
