I see, your complaint is about the "keep away" part and not the "boring" part.

Sorry, to me (again: not you) soccer is like a big game of keep away. I'm sorry you don't like that comparison, but that's what the game looks like *to me* and that comes from having watched it.
I have no desire to learn rules to a game I find boring on its face. But if you *don't* find the game boring, more power to you.
I'll point out again that my very first post made it clear I was only talking about *my* feelings about the game and was not attempting to tell anyone they had to feel the same.
