A player's burst is between 1.7 and 2.2 seconds per 10 yards, not counting time to drop back and hand off.

Most running back line up 8 yards behind the center. It's hard to envision a non-fumbled snap running play that takes less than 2 seconds. Anything with progress beyond the line of scrimmage will obviously take longer. The math on this one just doesn't check out at all. I have to believe that there are exclusions to reduce the play length.
