was scheduled to play there - Verve Pipe - and I hadn't heard about the gig ... was just home napping on my couch and the phone rang - I didn't pick up - and the answering machine wasn't turned on - well after ringing 15 times - it had this unknown function where it WOULD turn on and take the message ... he know about that and I was just about to get off the couch and YELL at whoever wouldn't hang the fuck up - when the answering machine turned on and it was him inviting me to the show that night ... LOLOLOL - I DASHED to grab it before he hung up totally surprised about the trick he knew about my phone.
It was a GREAT outdoor show - had a blast - seems like yesterday but it's been 20 years!
