now this is not in every case, but if the DJ is national, like for instance Alice Cooper who has a show...he records his bits in advance....

and the music is programmed around him or planned out in advance and he has talking points he hits.
Now that's not every show. And a lot of the out of market DJ's just pull up whatever market they are voicetracking and do what they do
