start in West Africa...build up the transmissions, Ship #1 & 2....then air...then build up the cold resistance...then coughing becuase it doesn't trigger the awareness.
then build out the ability to genetically harden...
once everyone on the planet is infected, then hit them with the pnuemonia / pulmonary whatever / total organ failure / coma.
You should eliminate everyone within a year upon hitting that point.
This also worked for the next one as well.
