I like the Presto card that most transits in this area have. You load $ on it and can set auto-load from a CC when the balance drops below a certain $

The TTC itself only has limited subway stations that have readers, and it's not on any busses or streetcars yet.
Luckily, the subway stations that I use to go to work do have readers.
