Even going into this season, it was a non-starter. I say that as a Harper fan.

Trout's a .330/30/30 guy who plays defense at a legitimate gold-glove level.
Harper's a .280/25 reality with .280/35 potential if he stays healthy...which for a 21 year old is incredible...but it's far behind Trout at this time.
