which includes games where they tied?

I do not know about soccer, but hockey used to be 1 point for a tie, and 2 for a win, IIRC, so a team with 10 wins and 10 ties got more points than a 13 win team with no ties.

    - You play 38 matches in the EPL....you need roughly 30-35 points to guarantee you get to stay in the EPL. The champs are usually around 80 iirc - Hunta Jul 1, 14:32
