In response to "Is there a reason ST is heating up the whole house with the oven in the middle of summer just for some bacon?" by con_carne

i prefer the crispness of bacon that cooks in the oven. bonus: no grease splattering out of the pan and onto my arm/clothes or onto the stove.

I hadn't cooked bacon for the longest time because I hate the pan method.

Now I do either oven or microwave.
