Point being: we can't lump the conservatives together on all issues

In DOMA, some (but not all) of the conservatives voted to uphold, so DOMA lost.
In Hobby Lobby, all of the conservatives voted for HL so it won.
Why would we assume, 12 short months after DOMA, that HL rather than DOMA is now more relevant of a precedent comparison for guessing outcome?
(I realizes there are conservatives, including perhaps some on SCOTUS, that may feel DOMA is wrong but also feel SCOTUS ruling for gay marriage is wrong. But that has nothing to do with HL)
