I feel like such a moron pretending that this stuff matters, but it shocks me how much it does to political party people. I got a call this morning from a relatively "normal" volunteer I've worked with who was willing to volunteer on my campaign because "it seems like everybody else (of the local group of activists) is going to be doing so..."

Crazy sauce, but like all campaign managers tell all candidates, "You don't get the right to choose why they will or will not like you. They keep that power and their reason is always just."
