It isn't a muscle-pull. Best case, he holds off the ticking time bomb. American baseball is harder and he had mileage...maybe it just happened.

Either way, the earliest he will be 100percent is 2016. I would rather have 85% Tanaka next August than him not being on the mound till spring traini -- nm
