He'd been dumped by his label, he said. I was in the audience when someone suggested crowdfunding, which he'd never heard of. When it was explained to him he said he would look into it.

He actually did it.

Stupid me, not paying attention, did not get in on this so I had to buy the CD from amazon UK (got it the other day). I'll have him sign it when I see him again.
