but it's going to cost him a lot of votes. The teacher's union is very strong and very large and they don't want the teachers pay to be tied to the students performance.
Takes some balls to take on the AFT and one his largest supporters.

I'm all for it since we need major education reforms. The full funding of No Child Left Behind is a good start but we need so much more.
