you yourself said it's precisely what you want to do. you can't squander experience like that (and the potential to transition an internship

into fulltime employment post-graduation) for the opportunity to spend *another* summer in new york. you have the rest of your life to visit new york -- and if you work in media, you'll likely do so frequently, if not live there.
