I was surprised to find out that ~10% of the funds raised go to Kickstarter/Amazon.

I mean, I get that they need to get a portion of the funds to run the site, but ... that just seems like a lot.
I need $1000 to make my idea. Better raise $1110 to cover the "fees" of raising money.
