yes you pay into unemplyment and then get credited the money back in an account when you become unemplyed and they dish it out weekly to you. -- nm

Maybe California is different, but I thought unemployers paid into the unemployment tax, not that employees did?

I'm not sure how it is listed but they told me what my credit was based on my salary of the last year, since I was on disablity part of that time I'm
