In response to "Perhaps if Hamas didn't have rockets there would be no need to bomb anything." by TWuG

What a tunnel vision view of the world. Can I buy you a color TV please.

Every time (*every fucking time*) a civilian is killed (seemingly pretty often, though hard to tell) in Gaza, the instant defense (from some) is "Hamas must have had a rocket there, it's Hamas' fault!"

Assuming that's even right in every single case (and I am dubious of perfection in cases like this) are we to hold that Israel has no responsibility, no accountability for considering the collateral damage from their bombings? In other words, as long as it can blamed on Hamas, Israel is free and clear to let as many innocent die as needed during this campaign?

In that logical world, Israel is incapable of overstepping, simply because they are fighting terrorists. In that logical world, Israel can do no wrong.

I vehemently reject that black and white logic.
