This is a really tough situation. Nobody is blameless, but that doesn't make it equal. We all want Israel to show restraint because they have so

much more power and damage to inflict, but can you imagine how we would react if Cuba was lobbing rockets into Miami on a daily basis? Hamas started this and they deliberately surround their combatants and weapons with civilians (including children) to drive the world to outrage against Israel. I don't agree with all that Israel does in their relations with the Palestinians (I'd like them to stop building settlements in Gaza for instance), but there is a confounding false equivalency of blame that goes on as well.
