I used to shop at Pavilions at Chapman & Brookhurst but they closed it about 20 years ago and the building's been vacant ever since.

I sometimes stop at the Von's at Chapman and Haster but that area's pretty much Santa Ana north and reflects it.
Grocery choices in central and east GG are limited unless you want to shop at the Asian markets or Costco.
